There was nothing left for five-star quarterback Israel Abrams to figure out.
“If I wanted to still be taking visits and talking to other colleges, I would,” Abrams said. “I want to be at Miami though. I’m right where I should be.”
Abrams’ decision to shut down his recruitment is just the latest sign of how bought in Miami’s 2027 recruiting class is. The Hurricanes currently hold the No. 2-ranked class nationally in the cycle according to 247Sports, and all of its commitments announced on social media within the last week that their recruitments are shut down.
