St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet Jesuit Top247 tight end Ridge Janes is a top target for Michigan in the class of 2028. The Wolverines would love nothing more than to secure a commitment of the 6-5, 225-pounder, who 247Sports slots as the No. 213 overall player in the nation, No. 9 tight end overall, and No. 4 recruit in his home state.
This spring, Janes made his way to Ann Arbor. The trip went extremely well. He connected with the staff, learned about the academic and athletic opportunities, and is eyeing his first game day visit to Michigan this fall.
“I really enjoyed my spring visit at Michigan,” said Janes. “I had a good conversation with the academic advisors and they take their studies seriously. Also, head coach Whittingham is great. I feel they are going to compete athletically, for sure.”
