Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic three-star quarterback Trey Tagliaferri committed to the Oklahoma Sooners on Friday. The 6-1, 190-pound made a quick commitment to Notre Dame back on June 25, but decommitted a week later, as he found a better fit and situation in Norman alongside head coach Brent Venables and his staff.
Tagliaferri, 247Sports’ No. 19 quarterback in the class of 2028 and a Top 10 player in his home state, chose the Sooners over 30 other programs across the country. With this decision, his recruitment has come to a close.
So, what is Oklahoma adding in the talented passer, who threw for 2,215 yards, 29 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions as a sophomore?
Here is what he told 247Sports.
