The Nebraska Cornhuskers have picked up a massive 2027 commitment, and they’re on the board with one of the top wideouts in the country.
That would be Khalil Taylor, a four-star wide receiver from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania.
Taylor is ranked as the No. 13 wideout in the country and the No. 4 player from the state of Pennsylvania, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Nebraska and head coach Matt Rhule stole Taylor right out from under the nose of new Penn State Nittany Lions head coach Matt Campbell and the Nittany Lions.
Penn State was one of Taylor’s finalists, as were the Colorado Buffaloes and Alabama Crimson Tide.
Taylor liked the package that Nebraska offered him, though, and none of it had to do with NIL money.
“Development, stable coaching staff and a quarterback that’s committed in my class that I’m able to work with my years there,” Taylor has said of what he was looking for in a school, via Rivals.
The 2027 quarterback for Nebraska is five-star Trae Taylor, ranked as the No. 1 quarterback in the country, according to 247Sports.
“It’s a great opportunity to play with him,” said Khalil Taylor.
