Conor McGregor has just two fights remaining on his current UFC contract, and the promotion has yet to offer him a new deal or extend his existing agreement.
During a recent sit-down with TMZ Sports, when McGregor was asked about how many more times he plans to compete under the UFC’s banner and if this weekend could be his last dance, he said:
“No, I’ve got one more. I’ve got one more guaranteed. So, I hope to continue business with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. I’ll put that on record. And there you go. There you go… Well, I fancy the next couple of years to be hella active. So, let’s go.

Conor McGregor says after UFC 329, he will fight again in April 2027
This weekend at UFC 329, the Irishman will return to the octagon after half a decade to run it back with Max Holloway. After the Holloway rematch, “The Notorious” will have just one fight remaining on his current deal.
Last month, while speaking to Ariel Helwani, the former double champion had stated that his second bout is in April 2027, and although he wants to fight much sooner after UFC 329, that’s how his “contract was done.
“I have both dates for my fights. I have July 11, and when would you think they put me back in? April 2027. It’s almost a year later. That’s ridiculous to me. But this is the way the contract was done. I have a second date in April 2027.”

However, on UFC 329 fight week, the Irishman has made it clear that he wants to remain at 170 pounds and to game to fight 3-4 times a year. Once he gets the ball rolling with a win over Max Holloway, McGregor believes he’ll compel the UFC matchmakers to keep him fighting regularly.
During the same TMZ Sports interview, McGregor touched on a potential boxing rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr., adding:
“Yeah, for sure. I’m like this with Floyd. I’m like this with little Floyd. There are conversations ongoing always with the boy. That’s the truth.”
