Desmond Christian has emerged as one of the most intriguing athletes in South Florida within the 2028 recruiting class.
The Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay standout played both wide receiver and defensive back at a high level as a sophomore last fall — and Power Four programs took notice. Programs are split on what position he will play at the next level, with some just labeling him as an athlete and recruiting him at both positions.
“I have a lot of both, really — a lot of athlete offers,” Christian said. “So most of the schools want me at both. They like how I play, and they like my play style.”
Christian, who holds nearly 30 scholarship offers entering his junior season, says a few schools have separated from the pack.
