Reigning MaxPreps National Player of the Year David Gabriel Georges scored three fourth-quarter touchdowns and rushed for 173 yards while adding 70 yards as a pass catcher. With Baylor up 17-13 in the fourth, the five-star Tennessee commit had three straight runs of at least 10 yards before scoring a 6-yard touchdown to give the Red Raiders a 24-13 lead.
Four-star Ole Miss commit Keegan Croucher threw for 172 yards and a touchdown in his first start for the Red Raiders after
transferring in from Connecticut.
Freshman quarterback Marshall Manning also got the first varsity action of his career when he checked into the game midway through the second quarter. He completed his only throw of the game to junior Antwaun Adams.
In the first quarter Adams, a four-star safety, hauled in a 39-yard touchdown reception and forced a fumble on defense. That fumble was recovered by three-star senior Khori Faulkner, who later added a 1-yard touchdown run.
The Red Raiders have now won six straight games against Brentwood Academy with five of those victories being decided by one score or less, including the 2025 Division II Class AAA state title game.
Baylor got on the board first Thursday when Croucher hit Adams for 39 yards to go up 7-0. After trading field goals, Baylor scored with 1:17 left in the first half when Faulkner rumbled in from 1-yard out.
Brentwood Academy answered right back though when senior Ole Miss pledge Crews Jenkins hit wide receiver Lexton Baskin for a 67-yard touchdown, cutting the deficit to 17-10 at halftime.
Baylor then went on a six-minute drive that ended with a Gabriel Georges touchdown to go up 24-13 with 11:31 remaining.
Baylor answered again with a second Gabriel Georges touchdown to go up 31-20. The Red Raiders defense then forced a punt to set up the Tennessee commits third rushing touchdown of the game to win 38-20.
