It’s set to be a hectic end to the summer transfer window at Tottenham Hotspur. The Lilywhites have already splashed the cash and are also on the verge of welcoming Savinho from Manchester City for a hefty £85m.
The move finally hands Roberto De Zerbi the winger that he’s been looking for after a summer-long saga, but Spurs could still have more reinforcements on the way.
Reports have also linked the North London club with Omar Marmoush, as Man City continue their clear out. The forward only arrived in January of 2025, but could already be heading for the exit door.

Many will be wondering just how Spurs are planning to fund such moves. However, the truth is that there have also been plenty of outgoings at the club this summer.
Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Guglielmo Vicario have all sealed moves away from the Lilywhites in recent weeks. Even though some will be quick to suggest they left in cut-price deals, it all certainly adds up.
There could yet be more departures on the way, too. Joining that trio, Pape Matar Sarr is now threatening to steal the headlines and complete a late move away from Tottenham.
Galatasaray launch Pape Matar Sarr move
As reported in Turkey and relayed by Sport Witness, Sarr has reached an agreement to join Galatasaray and is “very keen” to join the Turkish club, but their opening offer has not yet satisifed Tottenham. Galatasaray’s first bid, worth €18m (£15m), has been rejected by those in North London as they hold out for their original €25m (£21m) valuation.
Talks are ongoing and if Galatasaray bridge that gap, then there’s every chance that they welcome their priority midfield target before the end of the window. For Spurs, a sale also makes sense. They spent big on a new-look midfield earlier this summer – welcoming Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes and making Sarr surplus to requirements in the process.
Without European football, squad depth isn’t as urgent as it once was at the club. Game time for players like Sarr is set to decrease as a result, opening the exit door.
Another sale wouldn’t exactly be a disaster for Spurs, either. Given that they’re still in the market for more additions, funding those transfers can only be done by sacrificing certain stars.
