Columbia’s
last victory — before Saturday — was Oct. 16, 2015 when the Eagles beat Ardmore 34-16. The
Eagles came close to snapping the streak last season when they fell
28-24 on Sept. 26 to East Lawrence.

Greensboro took a 7-0 lead on an Aiden Jones touchdown and extended it to 14-0 on a 56-yard pick 6 by Jaden Harris.
The Eagles took the lead for good as Richey again found paydirt from 6 yards out right before half. The 5-foot-8, 165 senior had 163 yards on 14 carries and three scores before intermission.
The Eagles can now focus on starting a win streak as they face East Limestone (Athens, Ala.) on Aug. 28. The Indians were 1-9 in 2025 and opened this season with a 27-26 loss to Ardmore.
