The 2027 recruiting class is mostly taken care of, the 2026 season hasn’t even kicked off yet and Texas is preparing for another run at the College Football Playoff.
But in today’s world of college football, recruiting never takes a break and the 2028 class is about to step into the spotlight.
Texas has already extended offers to a long list of elite prospects and hosted a good number of those prospects on campus. Several of those players have emerged as names worth knowing.
So, as we begin our coverage of the 2028 cycle, here’s an early position-by-position look at the prospects Texas is pursuing on the offensive side of the ball and the players Longhorn fans should have on their radar. We’ll tackle the defense in a subsequent article.
