Instead of dropping bars like his rapper and Grammy-winning father Lil Wayne, Dwayne Carter boots field goals for the Red Elephants. 

Every made field goal shows Dwayne Carter could be called “Tha Carter III.”

The 5-foot-7, 140-pound Carter drilled a pair — from 35 and 26 yards — in a 39-19 loss to Buford (Ga.), the defending MaxPreps National Champion. His second field goal pulled the Red Elephants within 7-6, and the game remained a four-point contest at halftime before Buford broke it open in the second half.

The attention surrounding Lil Wayne’s son will travel with him. Every
made kick figures to bring a new round of social media clips, “A Milli” references and fans eager to see whether the rapper’s son can turn a high school football opportunity into a college career. 

Carter already holds an offer from Deion Sanders and the University of Colorado, which came from Coach Prime in June.

Weezy is a big-time sports fan, especially of the Green Bay Packers, and
his songs are littered with player and sporting references. Maybe one
day, his son’s on-field exploits will make it to a song.
