Four-star cornerback Bryce Williams has committed to Nebraska, 247Sports has learned.
The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Western defensive back, who is currently on an official visit in Lincoln, picked the Cornhuskers over other finalists like Oklahoma and North Carolina. He took an official visit with the Sooners last weekend and had one scheduled with the Tar Heels for next weekend — but that is unlikely to happen.
Williams stands 6-foot-2, 175-pounds and held over 50 scholarship offers.
He joins a Nebraska class that ranks No. 25 nationally with 13 commitments in the fold. Williams is the fifth highest ranked commit in the class. He is the third player from the state of Florida to choose the ‘Huskers, joining Seffner (Fla.) Armwood three-star defensive tackle Errol Demontagnac and Miami (Fla.) Palmetto three-star wide receiver Kaden Howard from the Sunshine State.
As a junior, he totaled 22 tackles, 12 pass breakups and an interception.
247Sports ranks Williams as a four-star prospect, and as the No. 31 cornerback in the country and the No. 25 player in the state of Florida.
