Arsenal‘s search for new forwards continues to gather momentum as Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta assess a number of exciting options.
The Gunners are determined to add more quality and competition in wide areas despite winning the Premier League title last term, which could have something to do with reports linking both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard to the exit door.
One player who has recently emerged on Arsenal’s radar is Club Brugge sensation Christos Tzolis.
The Greece international enjoyed a sensational 2025/26 campaign and established himself as one of the most productive attackers in European football.
Tzolis finished the season with 22 goals and 29 assists in all competitions, remarkable numbers that naturally attracted attention from some of the continent’s biggest clubs.

Arsenal’s interest is understood to be genuine, and backed by the likes of David Ornstein, although the transfer window remains long and situations can change quickly.
The club continue to assess multiple targets as they look for the right profile to strengthen Arteta’s squad, and could even look to add more than one winger this summer.
Arsenal star in ‘advanced talks’ to leave with personal terms ‘largely agreed’
He could be about to leave north London.
That process has led to another hugely ambitious name being linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta views Juventus star Kenan Yildiz as ‘dream’ Arsenal target
According to Sky Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Juventus star Kenan Yildiz is viewed internally as one of Arteta’s personal “dream” targets.
The Turkey international has rapidly developed into one of the most exciting young forwards in European football and is attracting admiration from several elite clubs.
Tavolieri reports that Arsenal have identified the left-wing position as an area they want to strengthen and have formulated a plan around the possibility of signing Yildiz.
While no advanced negotiations are believed to be taking place at this stage, the report suggests the Gunners are prepared to think big if the opportunity presents itself.
That ambition is reflected in the figures being discussed.
According to Tavolieri, Arsenal would be willing to spend around £87 million in order to bring Yildiz to north London.
Such a fee would place the World Cup star among the most expensive signings in Arsenal’s history and underline just how highly he is rated by those inside the Emirates.
It is easy to understand the attraction.
Despite still being only 21, Yildiz has already become a key player for Juventus and one of the brightest talents in Serie A, racking 11 goals and 10 assists in total last term.
Yildiz is also capable of playing across several attacking positions, with Arteta known to value versatility.
Although most comfortable operating from the left, he can feature centrally or on the opposite flank.
Arteta has repeatedly favoured players capable of filling multiple roles throughout his squad, and Yildiz has also been likened to footballing icon Cristiano Ronaldo by Italian football pundits like Emanuele Giaccherini.
“Yildiz is changing his style of play because his characteristics are also changing,” said the former Juventus star on DAZN last December.
“Last season, Yildiz used to dribble more; now he’s more of a striker.
“He reminds me a bit of Cristiano Ronaldo. For me, he’s a complete player.
“He’s certainly a top-notch player. He makes the difference and is as decisive as he was in the Champions League (against Bodo/Glimt).”
Yildiz is very highly-rated, but whether Juve would be willing to part ways with an untouchable member of their squad remains to be seen, even if Berta and co are prepared to splash the cash.
