Lane Kiffin has wasted no time flexing his recruiting muscles at LSU. The 51-year-old coach has quickly married his charm and football savvy with the Tigers’ abundant resources, resulting in what’s shaping up to be one of the top 2027 recruiting hauls in the country.
LSU currently ranks No. 30 nationally with a slim 11-man commitment list. However, six of those are Top247 recruits, and the Tigers sit No. 3 in the country in average rating per commit. The haul includes five-star edge rusher KJ Green (No. 6 overall), the third top 10 prospect to lock in a commitment to the Tigers under Kiffin, joining 2026 five-star defensive linemen Lamar Brown (No. 4) and Richard Anderson (No. 8).
