This past weekend, Paddy Pimblett bounced back in style at UFC 329. Pimblett locked horns with Benoit Saint Denis in the co-main event of the Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway 2 card.

The Brit stole the show in just 52 seconds by putting “God of War” to sleep with a D’Arce choke. On his way to the locker room, Pimblett hurriedly grabbed his vape and a slice of pizza to celebrate this quick and stunning victory. He said:

“Where’s me vape? That was light work. That’s how you fuc*ing do it… I just left a dead man in the cage… Choked that bi*ch out… We’re gonna eat some food and get sh*tfaced.”

Paddy Pimblett believes Conor McGregor will never fight again

This past weekend at UFC 329, Conor McGregor’s long-awaited return to the octagon lasted just 69 seconds. During the Max Holloway rematch, the Irishman suffered a right knee injury after throwing a flying kick. McGregor wanted to keep going but could not put weight on his leg and was in serious pain. He kept falling to the ground, and therefore the ref had to stop the bout.

Pimblett believes after the UFC 329 injury, the Irishman will not be able to fight again. During an interview with Caroline Pearce, he said:

“It’s sad for the sport because McGregor is one of the biggest names the sport has ever seen. And for him to go out like that, it’s not good. I would have loved to have fought him, but it doesn’t look like he’s ever going to be able to fight again.”
