Selma (Ala.) High three-star receiver Cedrick Simmons committed to Auburn back on June 23, but things weren’t sitting well with him on that front. In his head and heart, it wasn’t the place he truly wanted to be. So, the 5-9, 190-pound talent from the class of 2027 chose not to waste any more time.
On Wednesday, Simmons flipped from the Tigers to the Alabama Crimson Tide. The No. 55-ranked athlete in America and No. 27 prospect in the Yellowhammer State chose to play his college ball for head coach Kalen DeBoer.
This recruitment is now over. Simmons couldn’t be more excited about his future in Tuscaloosa.
