Patrick Kane is expected to make a decision soon on who he will sign with. Which ‘home’ will he choose?
CHGO Blackhawks: Chris Chelios said on 104.3 the Score, that Patrick Kane should have a decision soon and that it’s down to the Chicago Blackhawks and Buffalo Sabres.

“I am not going to lie to you guys, it is down to Buffalo and Chicago. I know that, obviously, because I spoke to him. But it’s a tough decision for him. It really is.
You know, whether to go home, make it easy on his parents and his family and his friends and finish like he did, or like you know, kind of like Taser tried to do.
Or he comes back, and in my opinion, you know, he’s a Blackhawk, and you know the Blackhawks, you see how tough it is to make the playoffs. It’s hit or miss. There’s no guarantees. With the absence of Connor (Bedard), you know, in the beginning of the season, no telling when he’s going to be back yet.
How great would that be? You saw the reception he got a couple years ago during the Jersey retirement. He’s so beloved in Chicago. So I’m, I’m hoping he leans.
And I think he’s going to make his decision, you know, pretty quick now. It’s time.
But it’s a tough decision for sure. You know, again, I just go back to what I was feeling when I asked to be traded from my hometown, and it was one of the toughest things I ever did, but it worked out.
But God, I’m hoping he comes to Blackhawk, and it’d be exciting. It’d be a big boost to the Blackhawks, and he still got some good gas left in him. I think he’s got two, three years left in him. He had a good finish with Detroit. So let’s keep our finger crossed, fingers crossed. That’ll be great news if he does sign with the Hawks.”
