Indianapolis Lawrence North five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales announced his Indiana commitment Friday. The 6-foot-5, 195-pounder narrowed his recruitment to the Hoosiers, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Texas but has decided to play his college football in Bloomington, Indiana, for coach Curt Cignetti.

The landing spot is not much of a surprise. For quite some time, we at 247Sports made it clear that we felt Sales would head to Indiana. We have felt, for months, as though the Hoosiers were primed to land their top recruit in program history.

Sales is exactly that. He is the class of 2027’s No. 13 overall prospect, No. 1 wide receiver and No. 1 player in Indiana. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite, an average across all platforms, slots Sales as the No. 8 overall player but No. 2 at his position.

As a junior, Sales caught 37 passes for 794 yards and nine touchdowns.

In April, 247Sports sat down with Sales to take a deep dive into his recruitment. It was then that he made it abundantly clear that the Hoosiers were at or near the top.

In addition, he raved about Cignetti.
