Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in the United States on July 18 as British prosecutors moved to extradite them to the UK over a combined 59 criminal charges. The latest case adds 38 charges connected to four further alleged victims, bringing the number of alleged victims in the British investigation to seven.
The brothers were detained by the US Marshals Service and now await extradition proceedings, according to the Crown Prosecution Service. Andrew Tate, 39, and Tristan Tate, 38, are dual British-US nationals.

The CPS has authorised 32 additional charges against Andrew Tate: seven counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and 19 offences involving indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. The allegations are said to relate to conduct between July 2010 and August 2017.
Tristan Tate faces six newly authorised charges: one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The CPS has requested that the Tates be extradited from the US to face both the original charges and the further charges now authorised. A US extradition case will determine whether they are sent to the UK, where the allegations would then proceed through the criminal courts.
The additions mean Andrew Tate faces 42 charges in the UK, while Tristan Tate faces 17. Bedfordshire Police said the wider inquiry remains a complex investigation involving work with the CPS and international law-enforcement agencies.
Before the latest charges, Andrew Tate already faced 10 UK charges linked to three alleged victims: three counts of rape, four counts of actual bodily harm, two counts of human trafficking, and one count of controlling prostitution for gain. Tristan Tate had 11 existing charges, including three counts of rape, six counts of actual bodily harm, and two counts of human trafficking.
The new allegations concern four additional alleged victims. That is why the total charge count has risen from 21 to 59, rather than simply expanding the existing group of accusations. The CPS says its role is to assess whether there is sufficient evidence and whether a prosecution is in the public interest; findings of fact and guilt can only be made by a court.
The brothers have consistently denied wrongdoing in relation to the criminal allegations against them. Their legal position will now be tested in the US extradition process before any potential UK criminal proceedings.
Away from the legal case, Tate remains connected to combat sports through his past as a regional kickboxer and his December 2025 Misfits Boxing bout against Chase DeMoor in Dubai. Tate lost a six-round heavyweight contest by majority decision. His status as a former fighter remains central to an online brand aimed at young men, built around ideas of masculinity.
