All Completed Arsenal Transfers in 2026/27

Arsenal enter the 2026/27 season for the first time in over two decades as reigning Premier League champions, and the challenge now shifts from winning the title to defending it.

Mikel Arteta’s side pipped Manchester City to the crown in a title race that went down to the wire, though the campaign ended in heartbreak in Europe, losing the Champions League final on penalties.

With a squad already regarded as one of the strongest in the division, Arteta isn’t expected to oversee wholesale change this summer, but every title-winning side needs to freshen things up to avoid standing still.

The Gunners are reportedly in talks to sign Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes for £80m, who would instantly become their marquee arrival of the window and second biggest signing of all time.

New Arsenal Signings 2026/27

Arsenal’s defence is already among the best in the world, but they’ve reinforced it further with the addition of key defender Piero Hincapie, who made his loan move from Bayer Leverkusen permanent for around £34.5m.

Also arriving to improve the depth at the back is Leeds United keeper Illan Meslier, who signed on a free transfer, joining the goalkeeper ranks alongside David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga, although the latter is expected to leave the club this summer.

Christos Tzolis joined from Club Brugge in a £34m transfer as Arteta seeks more options in attack. The Greek forward scored 22 goals for the Belgian outfit last season and is seen as a replacement for the departed Leandro Trossard.

Arsenal Departures 2026/27

Super sub Leandro Trossard has signed for Turkish club Besiktas for around £15.3m. The Belgium star scored several crucial goals throughout his four seasons at the Emirates, providing double digit Premier League goal contributions all four years.

Another exit is defender Jakub Kiwior. The Poland international had just spent a season on loan with Porto and impressed enough to make the deal permanent for around £14.7m.

Backup keeper Karl Hein has also seen his loan made permanent, joining Werder Bremen for a fee just under £3m, and is the only other exit for a fee.

Outside of that, the Gunners have allowed a whole host of youngsters to leave the club for free.

Who is Arsenal’s Record Signing?

Arsenal’s record signing remains Declan Rice, who joined from West Ham United in the summer of 2023 for a fee of £105m, comfortably the highest amount the club has ever paid for a player.

The move came after Arsenal saw off competition from Manchester City, having laid the groundwork for the deal months in advance. Rice arrived with a reputation as one of the Premier League’s best defensive midfielders, and he’s continued to be a key figure in Arteta’s side since making the switch to north London.

Who is Arsenal’s Record Sale?

Arsenal’s record sale is surprisingly still Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, sold to Liverpool in 2017 for £35m.

Signed from Southampton back in 2011, Oxlade-Chamberlain went on to make 198 appearances for Arsenal, winning three FA Cups and three Community Shields, before Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool came calling. He’d go on to win the Premier League and Champions League at Anfield.
