New Chelsea Signings 2026/27

Chelsea have smashed their transfer record to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for £117m, with the Blues beating Arsenal to the move after the Gunners failed to follow up their interest in the England international with a concrete bid.

The Blues have also splashed the cash on two highly-rated youngsters in Atalanta’s Marco Palestra and Sporting CP’s Geovany Quenda, with the latter having already broken goalscoring records in Portugal as a teenager.

Denner, cousin of Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes, has completed a move agreed back in January 2025 upon turning 18, while Dastan Satpayev arrives with an eye-catching goal record already established in Kazakhstan.

Emmanuel Emegha becomes the latest player to join from Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg, with the Dutch forward having already earned international caps and captained his side last season.

Chelsea Departures 2026/27

Andrey Santos has left for rivals Manchester United in a deal worth almost £50m, a surprising departure given his 43 appearances for the Blues last season.

Marc Cucurella, a key part of Spain’s World Cup-winning squad, has joined Real Madrid for a similar fee after more than 150 appearances in west London.

Tyrique George has also departed, joining Everton after an impressive loan spell under David Moyes last season, while Alejandro Garnacho heads out on loan to Aston Villa, also with a view to making the deal permanent.
