DETROIT, Mich. — Cass Tech High School Top100 quarterback Donald Tabron II committed to Texas A&M on Saturday. The 6-4, 180-pound talent chose the Aggies over offers from all over the country, but most notably a couple of finalists, including LSU and Oregon, down the stretch.
Earlier this week, 247Sports was in The Motor City to sit down with the No. 49 overall player in the class of 2028 to find out why Texas A&M was the place for him. Tabron, the No. 3 quarterback in America and No. 4 prospect in his home state, spoke in-depth about his commitment to the Aggies, why he can’t wait to play for head coach Mike Elko, how it all played out behind the scenes, and so much more.
Here is everything Tabron had to say to 247Sports.
