As teams across the country prepare for the 2026 high school volleyball season, MaxPreps takes a look at the longest active winning streak in each state.
Defending national champion Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, Texas) was not too far behind at 78 consecutive victories but fell over the weekend at the Grapevine Fieldhouse Volleyfest. The Bobcats lost Thursday to Allen but bounced back to win the tournament and improve its record to 7-1 on the season.

That leaves Las Cruces (N.M.) with the nation’s second-longest win streaks at 57 straight matches. The Bulldawgs have been perfect in each of the past two seasons, posting back-to-back 27-0 records.
