Running back TJ Harden played four seasons at the college level.
Three of those seasons came with the UCLA Bruins, and last season, he played for Rhett Lashlee and the SMU Mustangs.
Harden then decided to try his luck in the NFL, and he entered his name into the 2026 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound running back from Los Angeles, California, went undrafted, but he still entered the league as an undrafted free agent. First, he was signed by the Cleveland Browns as a UDFA.
The Browns cut him on Aug. 3, and he was then picked up by the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
He even played in Seattle’s preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Harden was cut this past Monday again and has now decided to take advantage of the court ruling that has allowed members of the 2022 recruiting class to get an extra year of eligibility via the NCAA’s new 5-in-5 rule.
He’s heading back to college and heading into the transfer portal.
