A week after releasing a top eight, Top247 linebacker Mikahi Allen now has his official visits locked in.
The Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco standout already made an official visit to Illinois, and he also set officials to Tennessee, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Florida State and Texas.
The other programs in his top eight are Rutgers and Syracuse, both of which are close to his home and could get another visit between or before the bulk of the officials begin.
So where do things really stand?
The nation’s No. 230 overall prospect and No. 17 linebacker and his camp are being meticulous with his recruitment. He made a host of unofficial visits, and from that came up with the officials.
Usually, not getting an official visit does not bode well for a school.
