Newcastle United star Lewis Miley wants to sign a new contract with the Magpies and continue his career at St. James’ Park, according to Football Insider.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “Yeah, it’s a no-brainer for Newcastle to try keep hold of Lewis Miley.
“He’s a top young player who has come through the ranks at Newcastle and has really been excellent when he has played, he’s showed he can do a real job for the team.
“It’s probably just a case of giving Miley a new deal as reward for how well he’s done for Newcastle this season as well and just to end any possible talk that he could be lured away.
“He’s under contract until 2029 so any new deal would be on improved terms for him.
“There’s also a willingness from Miley’s side and also from Newcastle to get a new deal tied up and obviously have the player at St James’ Park for the foreseeable future.”
