MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. — Chandler (Ariz.) High Top100 quarterback Will Mencl is one of the top overall players in the class of 2027. The 6-3, 200-pounder is ranked as the No. 89 overall prospect this cycle, No. 8 quarterback overall, and No. 2 recruit in his home state.
On the recruiting front, he could have gone just about anywhere to play his college ball. He chose to play for head coach Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks back on April 22. It was a massive win for the staff in Eugene.
This past weekend, Mencl made his way to California to take part in the Elite 11 Finals. He was one of 20 quarterbacks taking part in the loaded event.
