Fort Wayne (Ind.) Northrop three-star receiver Maddox Weil is one of the state’s premier prospects in the class of 2028. The versatile, talented playmaker has racked up nearly 20 scholarship offers to this point. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 62 receiver in the nation and No. 5 recruit in his home state.
On the recruiting front, Weil has a ton of programs pushing to land him. Alabama, Auburn, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, and others are doing all they can to land him.
Michigan offered way back in January 2025. The Wolverines targeted him early and have prioritized him ever since. In fact, I’m told the new staff has recruited him even harder than the previous group in Ann Arbor.
