Bia Mesquita has now given her side of a brief encounter with controversial looksmaxxing streamer Clavicular, and it was blunt from start to finish. Speaking with The Schmo in a recent interview, the Brazilian UFC athlete Mesquita said the exchange happened when she was leaving a mall with her family and was stopped by a man she did not initially recognize. She explained that he approached her, called her beautiful, and caught her attention mainly because he was surrounded by cameras, fans, and several people, which made her wonder who he was.

Mesquita said that curiosity, not interest, led her to hand over her phone number. In her telling, she wanted to figure out who he was after the interaction. “I was curious to know who he was,” she said, adding that she has “a bad habit” of being curious and “a little bit gossipy.” Once she checked into the kind of videos he makes, her view changed fast. “I just thought it was so stupid. I didn’t like it. I’m glad that nothing happened,” Mesquita said.

When asked whether Clavicular ever called or texted after getting her number, the Brazilian athlete said there was never any real follow-up because she cut it off herself. “Honestly, as soon as I wrote down his number and figured out who he was, I blocked it,” she said. She added that she does not even know whether he attempted to contact her after that, because by that point she had already decided she wanted no part of it.

Mesquita also left little room for ambiguity when the interview turned to Clavicular’s image. Asked about cosmetic work and his look, she responded, “Heck no. No, he looks terrible.” She said that during the mall encounter he was wearing sunglasses, so she did not get a full look at him in the moment, but after seeing photos and finding out who he was, her opinion got even harsher. “Bro, who do you think you are? Come on,” she said.

Mesquita compared him with the people she is usually around in her own sport. “He’s not good-looking. He doesn’t have a good shape. Come on, I’m around fighters all the time. I’m used to seeing six-packs around me. So no,” she said. In a short exchange that leaned comedic, The Schmo joked that Clavicular was the one “being mogged,” and Mesquita agreed with the general point that she did not see him as impressive.

Clavicular is an internet personality tied to the “looksmaxxing” scene, a corner of online culture built around the idea that men can improve their dating appeal and social image by changing their face. In practice, looksmaxxing content usually ranges from gym advice, skincare, and fashion tips to more extreme discussion around cosmetic procedures, facial structure, and highly appearance-focused self-improvement. In Mesquita’s interview, that context helps explain her reaction, because she said that after seeing the kind of videos connected to Clavicular, she quickly lost interest and blocked his number.

The undefeated Brazilian, already well known in grappling before moving into UFC competition, did not hedge her reaction during the interview and did not try to soften it for viral appeal. For Mesquita, though, the story itself was simple. She met a person she did not know, checked who he was afterward, disliked what she found, and shut the door before anything developed. Her version strips away any mystery, there was no hidden romance, no delayed link-up, and no second thought once she saw the content attached to Clavicular’s name.
