BEAVERTON, Ore. — After an exciting first day of on-field action at The Opening Finals at Nike’s 400-acre Philip H. Knight Campus, Day 2 crowns a champion in the 7-on-7 jamboree.

Bracket play began Thursday night, so Day 2 jumps right back into that action for the six regional teams in double-elimination play. The West and Southeast teams enter Friday as the Nos. 1 and 2 seeds, respectively. Friday also features the announcement of the Elite 11 MVP with names such as Elijah Haven, Trae Taylor, Peyton Houston, Peter Bourque and Israel Abrams in contention.

DAY 2 OF THE OPENING FINALS LIVE UPDATES

Thursday’s action featured a slew of impressive performances during the Jordan Training Camp before jumping into 7-on-7 play. The team competition also featured a number of standouts who are looking to repeat success on the final day of action.

The Opening Finals’ eight-year run from 2011-19 featured 428 eventual NFL Draft selections, including 95 eventual first-round draft picks. NFL superstars Saquon Barkley, Ja’Marr Chase, Derrick Henry, Trevor Lawrence and Patrick Surtain II are among some of the notable alumni of the event.
