Nottingham Forest are a side to watch in the market this summer. It’s no secret that they’ve got the money to match their ambition and as Juventus look to sell Thuram, he could be the perfect first addition for Glasner. |

Whilst rumours have suggested that Juventus value their midfielder at around €50m (£43m), the reality is that they want a quick sale and are now willing to accept a cut-price of just €40m (£34m). |

Insight |
Thuram is a top level player with international and Champions League experience. Once targeted by Liverpool, he would be a statement addition by Nottingham Forest. |
|
Impact |
As soon as Thuram leaves, it looks as though Juventus will be moving for incomings of their own and that could include the experienced Franck Kessié. |
Evangelos Marinakis rarely misses out on his transfer targets in the market and Thuram could be no different.
Juventus ready to axe Thuram
As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus are ready to axe Thuram after receiving an approach from Nottingham Forest. The Italian giants could even accept a cut-price. Having previously valued the Frenchman at €50m (£43m), they’re now reportedly ready to sell at just €40m (£34m).
It’s a massive boost for Forest, who could swoop in and sign their replacement for Anderson in style this summer. Whether they turn their interest into an offer remains to be seen, however.
£34m Thuram is the ultimate bargain
Tenacious and technical, Thuram ticks plenty of boxes in Forest’s search for an Anderson replacement. Add on his bargain price and the Midlands club should be all in this summer.
They’re not the only side interested, but when Marinakis wants a star, he tends to go all out to secure them. That could yet be the case with plenty of money to spend in the coming months.
At just 25 years old, this is also a player at the peak of his powers and that’s invaluable in itself. As Forest aim to hit the ground running under Glasner, someone of Thuram’s quality should be the priority.
