On Friday, July 17, at 6 pm ET, Macon (Ga.) Howard Top100 safety Ta’Shawn Poole will announce his college commitment live on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube Channel. The 6-2, 185-pound defensive back will select from one of three finalists, including Georgia, Florida State, and Tennessee.
Poole is one of the Peach State’s most talented and coveted prospects. He is 247Sports’ No. 85 overall player in the 2027 class, No. 4 safety nationally, and No. 6 prospect in his home state. The industry-generated composite rankings slot him at No. 64 nationally, but No. 6 at his position.
