Earlier today, BKFC 91 headed to Naples, Italy. In the main event, Lorenzo Hunt locked horns with Walter Pugliesi for the inaugural BKFC world Ironweight Championship.
Hunt (13-2), a two-division BKFC kingpin, once more attempted to attain three-division glory, and this time, he did not fail in his pursuit. After overcoming adversity in the early rounds and even being outstruck and dropped, he came back strong at the end of Round 3, piecing up a gassed-out Pugliesi with vicious elbows and uppercuts.
And in Round 4, Hunt, who had found his rhythm early but lacked momentum, finally got the golden uppercut he had been looking for, knocking out Walter Pugliesi cold to capture the promotion’s inaugural ironweight title.
