Paddy Pimblett recently took a dig at his arch-rival Ilia Topuria by claiming that he has purchased Topuria’s UFC White House red corner stool, which was auctioned by the promotion.
However, a few hours later, a fan shared a clip exposing the Brit by claiming Pimblett didn’t actually buy the stool.
Yesterday, on Instagram, Paddy Pimblett claimed that he spent $13,700 to purchase the red stool Topuria used at UFC Freedom 250. He captioned the post:
“Collector’s item 😁”

However, a few hours later, the actual buyer, Jessica, posted a video clarifying that she purchased the stool. She even showed the purchase receipt, revealing she paid $15,317 for it through the official UFC collectibles website. According to Jessica, the item has already been shipped but has yet to arrive. In the video, she also added:
“It was me who bought it. Not Paddy, not anybody else. I am a big Ilia fan. I kind of purchased it on purpose so that Paddy and nobody else could actually buy it and use it against him, but here we are.”

Paddy Pimblett’s UFC 329 quick win has given him more power to trash on Ilia Topuria
Paddy Pimblett’s recent stunt suggests the long-running feud between him and “hand sanitizer boy” Ilia Topuria is not going to be settled anytime soon. The Baddy” has been boasting about the fact that he lasted for five rounds against Justin Gaethje at UFC 324, although he was knocked down multiple times and ultimately suffered a unanimous decision loss. However, Topuria had to quit before Round 5 of the White House main event could begin, as his face was shattered and turned into a horror movie scene by “The Highlight.”
The Liverpudlian most recently returned to winning ways at UFC 329, where he submitted Benoit Saint Denis in under a minute. Pimblett came out of the BSD bout unscathed, meaning he could be game for a quick turnaround.
Ilia Topuria, on the other hand, suffered two broken orbital bones and a busted nose against Justin Gaethje. He is expected to remain sidelined for a few more months before being medically cleared to compete again. Those hoping to see Pimblett and Topuria finally settle their rivalry may have to wait a little longer. By the time “El Matador” is ready to return, Paddy Pimblett could already have another major win, climb further up the lightweight rankings, and become the next 155-pound title challenger.
