Chelsea supporters have learned a twist in the Enzo Fernandez exit saga after the club saw their £64m offer for Bournemouth star Alex Scott turned down.
Fernandez has become one of Chelsea’s most influential players since arriving from Benfica in a British-record transfer during the 2023 winter window.

Other leading European clubs have admired the Argentine, but Chelsea have consistently maintained that they would only consider offers matching their sky-high £120m valuation.
