Looking, for the moment, like a true four-corners positional prospect—a concept that seems somehow rarer these days—the 19-year-old Fragoza has been cornering pitchers with the bat, slashing .307/.366/.554 over his first 200 some-odd full-season PAs. His exit velo marks are already bumping up on big-league average, so the production checks out.

Jurrangelo Cijntje, SHP, St. Louis Cardinals (Triple-A Memphis): 6 ⅓ IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 11 K, BB.
Netherlandish baseball names are undefeated, as far as I’m concerned. Cijntje, on the other hand, has been defeated a few times already as he acclimates to Triple-A baseball. He missed making the Midseason 50 after finishing near the middle of the Top 101 over the offseason, and has struggled this season with both control and batted ball outcomes. It’s still really good stuff, though, as he demonstrated Thursday evening.
