Offensively, Duncanville will be led by wide receiver Trenton Yancey, a four-star Purdue commit who had nine touchdown receptions as a junior.
This is the opener for both teams. Despite sitting about 40 miles from one another, this is the first time in the MaxPreps era that these teams have met in the regular season.
The two head coaches have won more than 500 combined games. Duncanville is led by Reginald Samples, who has won 133 games since taking over the program in 2015 and 365 in his decorated career.
Lee Wiginton is 43-11 in four seasons as the head coach at Allen. He has 207 wins in a career spanning multiple decades.
Combined, the two schools have at least 31 players with at least one FBS offer.
