Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy three-star offensive tackle Rance Brown, who is originally from The Yellowhammer State, will announce his commitment on Monday, May 25, at 12 pm ET / 11 am CT live on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube Channel. This is a big-time SEC battle, as the finalists are Auburn and Kentucky.
Brown is a 6-6, 290-pounder who is primed for a breakout senior season. Currently ranked as a three-star prospect, the No. 83 offensive tackle in America and No. 40 recruit in the state of Tennessee, he is expected to play either left tackle or right tackle on a loaded Brentwood Academy roster. He’ll protect Ole Miss quarterback commit Crews Jenkins this fall following his transfer from the state of Alabama.
Brown had over 20 scholarship offers. He had a big offseason, racking up some impressive offers from the likes of North Carolina, Arizona, Stanford, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Duke, where his brother currently plays.
So, where will he end up? Here is what he told 247Sports about both finalists.
