LAS VEGAS — Joshua Tyson, the No. 57 overall recruit in the national 2027 class, completed an unofficial visit to Cincinnati last month. A 6-foot-2 guard out of West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West, Tyson plans to schedule an official visit with the program this summer after becoming intrigued by Jerrod Calhoun‘s background and recent coaching success.

“I saw how coach Calhoun’s system fit me super perfectly,” Tyson said of Cincinnati. “At Utah State, he was a winner. He won over 25 games and made a run in the (NCAA) tournament. I got to see how my game translates in his system and that was pretty big for me.”

In addition to the Bearcats, Tyson plans to schedule others, he said.
