Toa Satele is one of the top linebackers in the 2027 class.
He’s also the top recruit from the state of Hawaii, and the Oregon Ducks have cleaned up on the West Coast recruiting trail over the years.
That made Satele a natural fit for the Ducks, and the feeling was mutual.
Satele had massive interest in and from the Texas Longhorns and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Tosh Lupoi and the Cal Golden Bears were in the running, too.
Ultimately, the level of comfort in Eugene just made too much sense for Satele.
He committed to Oregon over the aforementioned programs on Wednesday.
