MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. — Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Top247 quarterback Davin Davidson committed to Florida back on April 9. The 6-6, 215-pounder from the class of 2027 chose the Gators over a long list of suitors such as Auburn, Miami, Colorado, Notre Dame, Arkansas, and many others.
In Davidson, Florida landed one of the nation’s premier prospects at the quarterback position. 247Sports slots him as the No. 222 overall player in the country, No. 13 quarterback nationally, and No. 19 talent in his home state.
Davidson recently took part in the Elite 11 Finals. He made a great impression for three days. He is looking forward to a big senior season before heading off to Gainesville.
