After a whirlwind recruitment that featured several lead changes, elite defensive lineman Kasi Currie has committed to Texas.
The announcement came Thursday afternoon live on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube channel, as the blue-chipper from Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon decided to go with the Longhorns over finalists Georgia, Ohio State and Oregon.
Midway through a four-stop itinerary of official visits and not long after returning home from a trip to the Forty Acres, the nation’s No. 37 overall prospect in the 2027 class decided to make the call to Texas.
