Tottenham‘s summer transfer plans continue to evolve as Roberto De Zerbi pushes for further additions ahead of his first full season in charge.
The north London club have already been among the busiest sides in the Premier League and remain active on several fronts as the window progresses.
One of Tottenham’s biggest priorities remains Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke.
The Dutch international has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs and reports have consistently suggested he is keen on the switch, with talks ongoing and a deal nearing completion.
Brighton have already rejected multiple offers for the centre-back, but Tottenham remain optimistic that a breakthrough can eventually be reached, with some suggesting that could happen by Sunday.

That being said, negotiations have become increasingly complex in recent days.
A fresh twist emerged when Brighton’s interest in highly-rated Tottenham youngster Luka Vuskovic surfaced.
The Seagulls are believed to value the Croatian defender at around £30 million and have explored whether he could play a role in discussions surrounding Van Hecke’s future (Joost Blaauwhof).

The Italian thinks he’d slot seamlessly into his system.
Tottenham regard Vuskovic as one of the brightest defensive prospects in European football, making any decision on his future particularly significant.
Elsewhere, Spurs continue to work on a deal for Savinho.
The Brazilian winger is admired by De Zerbi’s side and is viewed as a player capable of adding pace, creativity and unpredictability to Tottenham’s attack.
Talks have reportedly progressed and the club remain hopeful of strengthening their options in the final third.
While much of the focus has centred on defenders and wide players, another attacking name has now emerged from Italy.
Tottenham offered Santiago Gimenez deal by representatives
According to Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo, AC Milan striker Santiago Gimenez was offered to Tottenham on Friday.
His report claims intermediaries made contact with Spurs as questions continue to surround the Mexico international’s future in Serie A, with Lazio also among the sides who could move.
Gimenez arrived at Milan carrying huge expectations after his prolific spell in the Netherlands, and was once valued at around £86 million by Feyenoord, according to reports in 2023.
However, his first full campaign in Italy failed to produce the impact many supporters had anticipated, finishing 25/26 with zero Serie A goals to his name.
Despite showing flashes of quality, he struggled to consistently reach the levels that made him one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards during his time at Feyenoord.
That situation has inevitably led to speculation over his future.
The Mexico international, who was still included in their World Cup squad, racked up 65 goals in 105 total outings for Feyenoord before his Milan move and was widely regarded as one of the Eredivisie’s most devastating strikers.
At 25, he is entering what should be the prime years of his career.
His movement inside the penalty area, finishing ability and physical presence continue to make him an attractive option for clubs searching for goals.
Tottenham’s interest, if it develops, would make a degree of sense, especially considering Richarlison is out of contract next summer.
However, a lot will depend on Milan’s asking price.
