All out attack. That’s the directive Mikel Arteta has seemingly given to Arsenal‘s transfer chief Andrea Berta heading into the ongoing summer transfer window.

For the Gunners, they need more elite attackers. While they have always been strong at the back, the real difference has been up top.

Arsenal did win the Premier League but if they had a bit more about them in the final third, it’s likely they will have walked away from the Champions League final as winners.

Alas, Arteta looks to have learnt his lesson. It’s time to say goodbye to the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. They look like they could be replace by Morgan Rogers and potentially even Bradley Barcola too.

Arsenal’s hunt for new wingers is ramping up

Rogers is certainly the leading target for Arsenal this summer and talks are reportedly underway to understand whether a deal will be possible.

That said, the player wants to move to the Emirates and has communicated to Aston Villa that if a suitable comes in he would like to explore a switch.

He is not the only player who favours a move to north London. Club Brugge’s Christos Tzolis, while not a key target, is keen on joining Arsenal after they began exploring a transfer just over a week ago.

Better than Tzolis: Arsenal in club-to-club talks to sign £80m star

Christos Tzolis is not the only forward player Arsenal are looking at this summer.

Likewise, Leicester City wondkid Jeremy Monga holds the same stance. He has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and a deal is edging ever closer to completion. A bid has gone in but it has been rejected. It’s thought an agreement will be completed before too long.

Arsenal are really making an effort to improve their youth recruitment and Monga is not the only talented teenager set to arrive. Indeed, according to reports in Georgia, they are set to sign Andria Bartishvili from Kolkheti Poti in his homeland.

Aged just 17, this deal may not feel too significant but he’s one of the best emerging young talents in Europe right now and looks to have an immense future ahead of him.

A deal worth around £4.5m has allegedly been agreed to take the teenager to London.

Why Bartishvili could be Arsenal’s new Alexis Sanchez

With Arsenal chasing moves for the likes of Rogers and even PSG’s Bradley Barcola, this one may not feel too exciting.

After all, it is genuine elite forward players that Arteta needs, not a bunch of kids. However, as has been reported in recent weeks, any cheaper moves the Gunners complete this summer in those wide areas will not impact their pursuit of a marquee addition such as Rogers.

In Monga, it looks as though Arsenal are getting their hands on a maverick winger, someone who has already been compared to Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele by Como scout Ben Mattinson.

He’s really tricky and dangerous with the ball at his feet. He can burst past a defender with absolute ease.

As it happens, Bartishvili is very much cut from a similar cloth. Having played 35 senior games, the 17-year-old sensation has netted two times and assisted three goals during his career to date.

Obviously, those are not the jaw-dropping numbers someone like Lamine Yamal producing at the same age but there is plenty of hype about this young kid. That comes with good reason too.

Already compared to fellow Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the two countryman boast a similar play style. Rolled down socks, an exceptional low centre of gravity and a similar sort of running style, there is a lot to like about Bartishvili.

The forward’s best quality is undoubtedly his close touch control and dribbling ability. The way he manipulates his body to evade opponents is first-class.

If were to make a comparison closer to home, he looks a lot like Alexis Sanchez. Capable of playing as a striker, attacking midfielder or out on the left flank, it’s in the wide areas where he looks most at home.

Alexis Sanchez Arsenal record (timeless)

Watching clips of the youngster in action, you really do get a sense for presicely why he is like Kvaratskhelia and Sanchez. He utilises an amazing body feint that Alexis used to perform all the time in his prime, using a swift change of direction to bamboozle and wrong foot the defender.

He’s also got that aggressive hustle and bustle that the former Arsenal man had, particularly when in full flight and cutting inside from the left. Their small statures further illuminate the comparisons.

Caution must be urged. This kid is still only 17 but he is reported to have been scouted by Maurizio Micheli who also discovered the aformentioned Kvaratskhelia. For those thinking this move isn’t particularly exciting, you may want to think again.

He’s another Rice: Arsenal agree personal terms to sign £43m star

Arsenal have commended work on the signing of a midfielder who’s like Declan Rice.
