The UFC returns to the Meta Apex in Las Vegas for UFC Vegas 119. The main event features a potential flyweight title eliminator between Kyoji Horiguchi and Manel Kape. This marks their second MMA meeting and their first under the UFC banner. The last time the two flyweights met was in 2017 under the RIZIN banner, where “Karate Kid” submitted “StarBoy” with an arm-triangle choke.
Manel Kape is currently riding a three-fight win streak, with all of those victories coming by knockout. In his last bout, he knocked out Brandon Royval in Round 1.
Kyoji Horiguchi, on the other hand, has racked up two back-to-back wins after returning to the UFC in late 2025.
A win tonight at UFC Vegas 119 could earn Horiguchi a title shot. He has already stated that he would be willing to face his teammate, Alexandre Pantoja, and believes Pantoja will soon dethrone the reigning UFC flyweight champion, Joshua Van.
The co-main event of UFC Vegas 119 features a light heavyweight contest between Ion Cuțelaba and the undefeated Kiwi Navajo Stirling.
Before the UFC Vegas 119 main card, there are 7 prelim bouts. Stay tuned for the live prelim results.
