Arsenal‘s summer transfer plans continue to gather momentum as the club works on multiple deals ahead of the new season.
Sporting director Andrea Berta has been heavily involved in recruitment discussions since arriving in north London and a number of high-profile names remain under consideration.
One player repeatedly linked with Arsenal in recent weeks is Christos Tzolis.
The Club Brugge forward enjoyed a remarkable 2025/26 campaign, finishing the season with 22 goals and 29 assists across all competitions, and reports in both England and his homeland have suggested Arsenal have seriously explored a move for the Greece international.

Recent claims have even stated that Arsenal are preparing an official offer after internal discussions over the winger’s potential role in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Tzolis is not the only wide player being monitored.

Arsenal have also continued work on a deal for Leicester City teenager Jeremy Monga.
Fabrizio Romano recently reported that the Gunners submitted an offer for the highly-rated youngster as they attempt to win the race for one of English football’s most promising young talents.
Although Leicester rejected that initial approach, Arsenal remain interested, and it is believed that a deal for Monga is only a matter of time.
The club’s recruitment strategy has also extended to unlikely areas of the continent.
Georgian prospect Andria Bartishvili has been linked with a move to north London, and reports have suggested Arsenal are prepared to offer the teenager a pre-contract agreement as they look to secure another long-term prospect.
Further forward, Julian Alvarez continues to be mentioned as a major target.
The Atlético Madrid attacker has been admired by Arsenal for some time and remains one of several elite forwards being tracked by the club.
However, any move for Alvarez would be complicated by competition from other European giants and the significant financial package required.
Alongside those names, Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers has remained near the top of Arsenal’s shortlist.
The England international enjoyed an outstanding campaign and has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most productive attacking players.
His versatility, ability to carry the ball through midfield and effectiveness in the final third have all attracted attention from leading clubs across Europe.
Now, according to talkSPORT journalist Ben Jacobs, Arsenal are preparing to step up their pursuit.
Arsenal set to bid for Morgan Rogers as they ready formal Aston Villa talks
His report for GiveMeSport claims the Gunners will submit a bid for Rogers and formally open discussions over a transfer with Villa.
While admiration for Rogers has been well documented, the move towards formal negotiations suggests Arsenal are now actively exploring whether a deal can be completed.
Jacobs also backs up other rumours that Rogers is interested in joining Arsenal, and that position is viewed as an important factor given the level of competition surrounding the player.
Several major clubs are understood to be monitoring the situation.
PSG have been linked with Rogers in recent months as they continue to assess attacking reinforcements, while Man City have also been credited with interest in a player they previously had within their academy system.
Chelsea are another club reportedly keeping a close eye on developments, but despite that competition, Rogers appears ready to make the move to N5.
The ‘underrated‘ 23-year-old enjoyed another excellent year at Villa Park and has become one of Unai Emery’s most influential players.
His performances helped Villa secure Champions League football and clinch the Europa League, and so the club’s stance remains an important part of this story.
Rogers is currently tied down to a £120,000-per-week deal until 2031, and the Midlands club are not actively looking to sell one of their most valuable assets.
However, offers in the region of £80-100 million could test their resolve.
