Blue-chip wide receiver Charles Davis is among the latest selections for the 2027 adidas Polynesian Bowl.
The four-star prospect and Cal commit from Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake will wrap up his high school career by participating in the prestigious event which is set for Jan. 15 in Honolulu.
“It’s a game I’ve always wanted to play in, so this means a lot,” Davis told 247Sports. “I am honored and thankful to be selected to compete with some of the best players in the nation.
“I’ve been looking at it since I was younger, so I’m excited to get out there next year and experience everything that it has to offer.”
Davis is the No. 100 overall player in the 2027 class, per the 247Sports rankings, No. 13 among receivers and No. 11 in the state.
The talented 6-foot-5, 205-pound wideout remains completely locked in with the Golden Bears and intends to put pen to paper during the Early Signing Period in December.
Cal is the only program Davis officially visited this offseason, making it up to the Bay Area during the June 5 weekend.
In 11 games last season Davis was credited with 30 receptions for 526 yards and 11 touchdowns. His brother, former three-star receiver Niles Davis, signed with Cal in the 2026 class.
