Za’Kari Johnson, one of the nation’s top ranked athletes in the 2028 class, is reclassifying up to 2027, he tells 247Sports.
“I just feel like I’m ready,” Johnson said of his decision to move up a class. “I’m ready for the next step.”
The Westin (Fla.) Cypress Bay standout holds nearly 40 scholarship offers. Auburn, Florida State and Georgia Tech are some of the standouts among his long list of national offers.
One school already has an official visit lined up with the South Florida star.
