BEAVERTON, Ore. — Miami landed a special talent in five-star quarterback Israel Abrams. There are very few prospects in all of high school football who can do what the 6-4, 187-pounder can do on the field.

Off the field, Abrams is equally impressive. He is a person whom people gravitate toward. Abrams, who 247Sports slots as the No. 9 overall talent in the 2027 class and No. 2 quarterback nationally, is arguably the most well-known prospect this cycle. He is someone you bet on, someone you want to play alongside, and someone you expect to do tremendous things in the coming years.

All that said, Abrams isn’t necessarily content with the fact that Miami has the No. 5 overall recruiting class this cycle. Despite the fact that it is loaded with 20 coveted commits, headlined by four five-star recruits, Abrams wants to bring even more starpower to Coral Gables.
