Gable Steveson’s UFC debut went just as expected. The heavyweight knockout artist sent Elisha Ellison to the shadow realm at UFC 329 to secure his fourth consecutive first-round knockout victory.
As the bout began, Steveson showed why he is on another level. He mixed up his strikes. The Olympic gold medalist threw punches, knees, and kicks nonstop.
The bout was briefly halted due to a low blow in R1, but the referee did not deduct a point from Steveson. And when the contest resumed, Gable Steveson was in no mood to waste more time. He backed Elisha Ellison up against the fence with a sharp left hand, followed by a knee to the head and a crushing right hand, which was enough to drop “Snack Panther.
Before the ref could come in and stop the fight, the 26-year-old landed a nasty follow-up shot after the knockout to seal the win.
